Shipping and Delivery

Online orders placed with standard shipping usually ship within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Estimated arrival times will vary depending on location, but most orders will arrive 3-5 business days after shipment.

Online orders placed with expedited shipping (Two-Day & Overnight) will typically ship same day if placed before 12pm CST Mon-Fri. Orders placed after 12pm CST will ship out the following business day.

We do not process or deliver orders on weekends or holidays. We are unable to ship to any PO boxes.

The shipping cost for your order can be seen in the cart and during order review prior to checkout. An email confirmation with tracking details is provided upon shipment of all orders.

Free Shipping Policy

We offer FREE standard shipping on orders of $75 or more of eligible items. This offer includes the majority of all available items except for paint sprayers, striping/marking machines, power washers, and very heavy goods, as well as other select products. All eligible items will have clear “FREE Shipping” verbiage on the product detail page. If you qualify for free shipping, but your order also contains ineligible items, you will only be charged shipping for those ineligible items. This offer is valid for orders shipped within the contiguous U.S. only (excludes Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico). If you select an expedited shipping method, shipping charges will apply.

Freight Deliveries

Tools4Painting offers a number of heavy/oversized items that will require delivery by a freight carrier. If your order requires freight delivery due to the size and weight of the shipment, the shipping method will default to "Freight/LTL" in the cart and during checkout. Any applicable shipping costs will also be shown.

A freight shipment will generally deliver within 3-5 business days of shipment, but could take longer depending on the service routes provided by the carrier in your area. All residential deliveries will require an appointment with the carrier. You will be contacted for a delivery appointment when your order arrives at the local delivery terminal. You can also contact the carrier beforehand to schedule the appointment. No appointment will be made for commercial deliveries unless requested.

Your order should be fully inspected upon receipt for evidence of damage or shortage before signing the delivery receipt. If there are any problems with your shipment, this must be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery or you can opt to refuse the shipment. We may be limited in our ability to help resolve any issues if not properly documented with the carrier at the time of delivery.

If a shipping quote is not shown online, your order is likely too large or heavy to ship parcel and may require shipment by air or ocean freight. In these cases, a broker would be required. If you do not have a broker, we can help assist you in finding a broker to help with delivery of an international freight shipment. Please contact us for details and further assistance.

How to Place an Order

Placing an online order with Tools4Painting.com is easy. An account is not required to place an order. If this is your first purchase, you may open a new account OR proceed directly to checkout. An account allows you to keep track of your orders online and will keep your information securely stored for a quicker checkout process.

All customers will receive a printable order invoice via email immediately after the transaction has been completed.

Purchase Orders

You may also send us a purchase order by email to [email protected] or fax to (314) 344-5010. Unless terms have been established, we do typically require payment prior to fulfillment of purchase orders.

Tools4Painting.com allows you to choose from a variety of secure payment methods. All information provided to us during checkout is protected by SSL encryption to ensure your privacy.

Credit Card

We accept the following credit and debit cards.

PayPal

We support PayPal, a secure 3rd party payment processor. With PayPal, you may complete the purchase with any major credit or debit card, your bank account, PayPal balance, or PayPal Credit financing. If paying with a credit or debit card, a PayPal account is not required to use this service.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service allowing you to easily make secure purchases using a credit or debit card associated with your supported Apple device. The Apple Pay option will be available in the cart and during checkout on newer versions of iOS and Safari when using your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac.

Bank Wire Transfer

This is a direct payment method with which you can make bank transfers in real time. Bank-to-bank wire transfer is considered the safest international payment method. Please contact us to setup a wire transfer.

Tools4Painting.com is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to destinations in the states of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. If applicable, the appropriate charges will be applied and displayed in the shopping cart and order review prior to checkout. We do not collect sales or use tax in other states.

If you qualify for tax exemption status, please supply us with a copy of your state resale certificate, tax exemption certificate or other proof of tax exemption for your state. You may email a copy of your tax exempt certificate to [email protected] or send by fax to (314) 344-5010 - Upon approval, you will be provided instructions for making tax exempt purchases online or by phone.

Returns and Replacements

We want to you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. You may return most items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Returns must be accompanied by an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number
  • Returns must be received in new condition with the original packaging and accessories to be eligible for a refund
  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receipt
  • The following items are non-refundable and ineligible for returns:
    - Special order items
    - Pre-cut materials (transitions, sheet membranes, etc.)
    - Shelf life items (adhesive, solvents, caulking, etc.)
  • Customers will receive a full refund in the amount of the original purchase price of the item(s)
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable (including expedited shipping and international orders)
  • Shipping costs associated with any return will typically be the responsibility of the customer (excluding defective or damaged items)

Return Instructions

Please contact us for an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) to initiate any return. You may contact us by using our online contact form or calling us toll-free at (866) 634-1189. When requesting a return, please provide us with your order number, reason(s) for return and whether you wish to exchange the item(s) or receive a refund. A return authorization number is required for processing any return shipment.

If any merchandise received is damaged or defective, we will fully cover the costs of shipping and provide you with a prepaid return label. Otherwise, you would be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Please allow 3 to 5 days for Tools4Painting to process your refund or exchange upon receipt of returned merchandise. We reserve the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 25% or reject a return if it does not meet the conditions outlined here in our returns policy.

What do I do if my shipment was damaged or received with a shortage?

Please report any shipping related issues to [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving your order. Include photos or videos of the item(s) in question in their original packaging. Our team will review all incidents and remedy them at no expense to you. Reports after 48 hours, no documentation, and/or no original packaging may be subject to partial or no compensation.

All Clearance, Closeout, and One-Time Quotes Sales Final Policy

At Tools4Painting customer satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to provide high-quality products/services. Please carefully review the following terms regarding our "All Sales Final" policy:


No Returns or Exchanges

  • All sales are final. Once a purchase is completed, the item(s) cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason, except in cases specified under the warranty or consumer protection laws.
  • We encourage customers to thoroughly inspect their products and ensure the items meet their expectations before making a purchase.

Exceptions for Defective or Damaged Items

  • If a product is found to be defective, damaged, or not as described, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund. Please reference our damage policy for up-to-date information and proper reporting procedures.

Final Sale Items

  • The "All Sales Final" policy applies to all clearance, closeout, and one-time quote items unless otherwise specified.

Refunds for Unfulfilled Orders

  • If an order cannot be fulfilled due to stock issues, shipping problems, or other circumstances outside of your control, you will be entitled to a full refund or an alternative resolution as determined by our customer service team.
