Metakote qt Matte Ultra Low VOC Interior/Exterior Polyurethane

MetaKote ultra low interior/exterior polyurethanes are intended for professional use only. They formulated for exterior and interior wood surfaces especially those that are subject to heavy wear such as doors, windows, floors and above waterline marine surfaces. MetaKote may be applied to bare, bleached or stained wood. It is compatible with a variety of other Wood Kote products. Please refer to the Wood Kote Schedule of Product Compatibility and Recommended Dry Times. MetaKote complies with the EPA's VOC emission requirements for Architectural and Industrial Maintenance coatings (effective 13Sep99). MetaKote complies with California SCAQMD Rule 1113. One application of MetaKote will cover approximately 400-500 sq ft/gal (9,8-12,2 m2/L). For best results, 3–4 coats are recommended. MetaKote is almost pure polyurethane resin formulation with only a small percentage of modifying resin. MetaKote contains the maximum effective quantity of two UV (ultra violet) inhibitors. It is intended for application without thinning. If thinning is desired, PolySolvent (mineral spirits) should be used or, a VOC-exempt thinner.
