Description
Description
When you need plaster to securely adhere to difficult interior surfaces, Larsen Plaster-Weld provides the professional solution. As the original chemical plaster bonding agent, it is specially formulated with polyvinyl acetate homopolymer to create a reliable adhesive layer between new plaster and structurally sound substrates. Designed exclusively for interior use, Plaster-Weld prepares concrete, brick, block, tile, glass, marble, wallboard, and even certain painted or silicone-treated surfaces to receive one-coat, two-coat, or three-coat plaster systems.
Application is simple: brush, roll, or spray Plaster-Weld onto a clean, sound surface to create a uniform pink film. Once dry, it forms a strong base that allows plaster to bond tightly and evenly. Contractors can begin plastering as soon as it is dry to the touch, or delay for up to 10 days without compromising adhesion, offering excellent flexibility for scheduling. It even enables plaster to bond directly to concrete surfaces with embedded electric radiant heat cables or to cement mortar beds for insulation installation.
Proven through rigorous testing, Plaster-Weld withstands freeze-thaw cycles, temperature extremes, and exposure to detergents and alkalinity without bond failure. Non-toxic, non-flammable, and fire-resistant, it has been field-proven for decades to deliver long-lasting performance. With unmatched strength and versatility, Plaster-Weld is the trusted bonding agent for contractors, builders, and remodelers seeking durable, professional plaster results.
